Of this over $9,000,000,000 went missing. [12] The funds were drawn from the Iraq Development Fund, which had been formed from US seized Iraqi assets. Using C-130 planes, the deliveries took place once or twice a month with the biggest of $2,401,600,000 on June 22 2004, six days before the legal handover of the fund to the new Iraqi government.
